According to the report, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 27-year-old, and Bologna have not ruled out a move despite the recent sales of Sam Beukema and Dan Ndoye.
Gazzetta adds that Bologna are monitoring Diogo Leite (Union Berlin), Yusuf Akçiçek (Fenerbahçe), Fali Candè (Venezia) and Fedde Leysen (Union Saint-Gilloise) as possible replacements for Lucumí.
As per Corriere dello Sport, however, Bologna are determined to offer their defender a contract extension, having already sold Beukema to Napoli.
The defending Coppa Italia winners have signed Martin Vitik to replace Beukema.
More Bologna moves in defence

Elsewhere in defence, Bologna are close to reaching an agreement with Hamburger SV for Stefan Posch, who is expected to move to Germany for €5m after a six-month loan spell at Atalanta.
Bologna have already contacted Napoli for Alessandro Zanoli, who is the leading candidate to replace the departing Posch.
