Well, that’s that.
Has he already decided if this was his last game for Inter?
“We’ll see over the next few days and sit down with the club. After the second Final lost in three years, there is too much disappointment to think right now. There will be time to speak calmly with the club.
“The President and directors were ever-present, and again stood by our side in the dressing room this evening.”
“We expected Inter to battle hard, but we saw none of that. The game was lost in the first half, as when PSG are allowed the time and space to run at you, they are devastating. The attitude of the first half was unacceptable. The goal from the counter-attack was unacceptable from everyone, Barella in losing the ball, Dimarco in turning his back towards the shot.
“We must not wipe out the journey that this team has been on, but this performance was devastating and they will have to analyse why the first half was so unacceptable.”
“We said everything worked well for PSG, as they knew how to deal with the game as if it was a pre-season friendly or Ligue 1 match. They were so calm and confident in everything they did, from the first minute, which was truly unusual. Here is where we have to point to the coach, because everyone else failed at PSG, even some of the greats, he was the only one who managed to change their mentality.
“The club pumped in a ton of money, as they always have done, but Luis Enrique in my view above all trained the people and then the players. That was seen in their work ethic, from Vitinha being everywhere, Kvaratskhelia helping out in defence.
“Obviously, Inter had a bad night, but absolutely everything went wrong.”
“These fans had been waiting for too long. When I first arrived, they told me there was one thing we had to do, to write history for this club, city and country. It’s magnificent, they deserve all of this, we are so happy,” Hakimi told Sky Sport Italia.
In this head-to-head with his Inter replacement Denzel Dumfries, has Hakimi proved his status as the best right-back in the world?
“I never liked that sort of thing. I said the whole time that I wanted to play football, entertain the people who watch football, and the fans must decide who is the best right-back in the world.”
They’re playing Edith Piaf in the stadium, just to stick to the national cliches.

Inter receive their medals, Luis Enrique has a shirt dedicated to his daughter.
Inter arrive for their silver medals.
“Inter had a goalkeeper acting as a playmaker, they didn’t allow him to do that with Dembele constantly harassing him. Luis Enrique realised the goalkeeper was the one who directed everything, can see the play and creates danger. He never managed to find Lautaro or Thuram.”
“We knew it was going to be difficult, but PSG played so well, gave no reference points, pressed constantly and they deserve congratulations for that performance.”
“We have to accept PSG were much, much better and there was never any hope of turning this around. They deserve credit for that.”
Gianluigi Donnarumma has won the Champions League. That’s something Gigi Buffon never managed.
The heaviest EVER Champions League Final defeat.
No added time at all. Ref took pity.

Young player Mayulu completes a give and go with Barcola to beat Sommer from the tightest of angles.

Criminal from Di marco. Always silly mistakes in big games. Played everyone onside for the first goal. Turned his back for the second.
Laughable that Inter fans think they’ll win this game. Inzaghi clown is mediocre and his inferior mentality is on par with dinosaur Allegri. Btw, have you seen that pathetic Omar?!!
Is that you omar? that crying poor guy 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And to think this could actually have been worse. Inter could be down 7-0 or 8-0…
FI,
EVERYTHING I told you over the years has been proven absolutely true.
Do you believe me now? Inzaghi led Inter to NOTHING this season.
DiMarco has been exposed utterly.
I’ll accept your apology whenever you’re ready.
Sincerely,
The man who’s always been right.
This is why Serie A clubs are hopeless at one off matches. They go in with wrong mentality, not to win the game but to not lose and they end up losing. PSG went in with right mentality from the start, to win the game. Have a look how many times Serie A clubs make the final of these competitions and how many times they win them compared to Spanish or Premier League teams. There’s only Gasperini in Italy with the right mentality. This result puts Serie A back years. Humiliating.
What a lovely day to be a Calcio fan. XD
