@Umoh, add to the fact that Napoli officially mocked their own player for missing a goal opportunity (that penalty), then shut him out of the team when Conte arrived. No player anywhere in the world with an iota of self-worth will accept that. Osimhen declared never to play for the team again after the club shut him out. Football Italia, as much as you try to be fair in your articles, you ignore too much the fact that Napoli did not play fair in this matter.

This article conveniently omitted that Napoli went on a campaign of calumny against Osimhen right after the Scudetto win, and botched their handling of the reconciliation.. They effectively demarketed Osimhen by demonising him rather than apologising to him for the troubling monkey-themed clip.
Now, there seem to be a concerted effort to wage a very public campaign to muddied his image so he doesn’t get back to the radar of clubs like Real and those in the English Premier League.
