Chelsea secured a 3-0 win over 2025 Champions League winners PSG on Sunday night, becoming the first ever Club World Cup winners, but there was a tense end to the game with players and coaches involved in an ugly scuffle.
Italy captain Gigio Donnarumma and his teammate Achraf Hakimi argued with Chelsea striker Joao Pedro right after the final whistle, sparking a brawl that involved many of their teammates.

Maresca was involved too, but he ultimately calmed Donnarumma down by hugging him and talking to his compatriot for a few seconds.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Maresca appeared to tell Donnarumma ‘You’ve won everything’ prompting the Italian keeper to cool off, especially after winning the treble, including the Champions League, in 2024-25.
