Milan have not won the Coppa Italia since 2003, but already lifted the Supercoppa Italiana trophy this season.
Bologna are in their first Coppa Italia Final for 51 years, having won in 1970 and 1974.

Also good for Italiano, because the man who lost 3 Finals with Fiorentina between Conference League and Coppa Italia at last got to celebrate.
It has to be said, playing Milan on Friday ultimately helped Bologna a lot more. They lost that game 3-1, but learned the valuable lessons. When Conceicao tried his tactical adjustments, this time Italiano was ready.
